Find the Paint Tray

Find a piece of scrap wood to be our paint pallet.  Garbage or Scrap rack.

Unscrew the cap and use a small stick to only get the paint that you plan on using. Get less than you think. You can always get more but we're not going to put any back in. 

This was left by students.  Way too much paint wasted.

Scrape excess back into the Paint Bucket.  

Put the lid back on promptly. 

Paint in your design focusing on making sure all of it is filled in without worrying about it going over the sides. Brush over it briefly to make sure you don't have Globs of paint. 

Wash the brush thoroughly until the Water runs clear.  I make a cup in my hands to fill with water.  

You can also spread your fingers and run the brush across them. 

Return the brush to the tray.  

Throw away your garbage.
