Utilize 7/8 drill bit.
Hole should be in the center and 1-1/4 inches away from the edge of the wood.

Total Length Don't Waste Material
Estimate how much wire you need and check if we have one that will meet your needs.
If we have something that is close then we can utilize a junction box to use a smaller scrap pieces.
The "6-Inch Rule" (Total Length)
From the point where the wire enters the box, you should have at least 6 inches of free conductor. This ensures you have enough "meat" to strip the ends, wrap them around screws, or use wire nuts without straining your fingers.
The "3-Inch Rule" (Extension)
The wire should extend at least 3 inches past the face of the box. If your box is recessed into the wall, you measure from the wall surface, not the back of the box.
You must secure the wire within 12 inches of every electrical box.
The wire must be supported at least every 4.5 feet along the framing.
Don't over-tighten: Drive the staple in just enough to hold the wire snug. If you crush the outer jacket (insulation), you can cause a short circuit or a fire hazard.
Flatness: Ensure the wire lies flat against the wood. Avoid "twisting" the wire under a staple.
One wire per staple: Unless the staples are specifically rated for two wires, it is best practice to give each run its own staple to avoid heat buildup.
Put the wire down through the top plate first.
Pull enough wire through to get to the 15 amp breaker which is about 10" down.
Wire is run perpendicular to the ceiling joists. Then along the ceiling joist until it goes down to the toilet switch.
Run a wire that goes up from the toilet switch. It will go along the ceiling joist, close to the rim joist, and across before it drops down to the three gang box.
Run a wire that goes up from the three gang cross the ceiling joist and dropped down to the light bulb next to the window
Run a wire that goes up from the three gang across the ceiling joist and comes around to the fan.
Run a wire that comes up from the three gang, runs across the ceiling joist until it will run parallel to the ceiling joist to the shower light.
Run a wire that goes from the toilet switch to the toilet light
Run a wire that goes up from the load center and is perpendicular to the ceiling joist, runs along the ceiling joist opposite the fan. and then comes back perpendicular to the joists before dropping down to the socket.
