This panel is set up as a sub panel because the neutral and ground bars are not connected through a bonding screw.
We will use a screwdriver and not a drill to secure all electrical components.
This panel also has plug on neutral which AFCI and GFCI breakers to connect to.
Main breaker should be installed with retainer clip first.
Install the two breakers second.
Notice the shape of the plastic of the breaker will line up and hook under the interior plastic.
Also, notice the clip needs to get on plug on neutral. Don't force it on and bend it. Needs firm pressure but don't force!!!!
Clip should be wrapped around the plug on neutral. Put pressure on the opposite side attach to the bus bar.
Secure the main breaker with retainer clip.
The breaker hold down kit is a critical safety requirement to prevent accidental while live.
Install 15 amp breaker on the left.
Install 20 amp breaker on the right.
Run service leads into the panel utilizing the strain relief connector.
Install and secure the ground wire to the ground bus.
Install and secure neutral wire to neutral bus.
Install and secure the black wire on top and red wire on bottom to the main breaker.
Install bushings.
Run wires making sure to have a 1/2" of the sleeve inside of the panel.
14 gauge white wire:
Run this to the 15 amp breaker.
12 Gauge yellow wire:
Run this to the 20 amp breaker
Run neutral and hot wires to the correct terminal.
Notice in the pictures that they are opposite of each other opposite if they are on the other side of the panel.
Black is to power
White is to Neutral
Safety:
Make sure that white the 14 gauge white wire is connected to a 15 amp breaker.
Make sure that the 12 Gauge yellow wire is connected to the 20 amp breaker.
